Shaun Doherty’s disciplinary problems continue as he was sent home from his one-month loan at Blackpool after Steve McMahon was unimpressed with the midfielder’s attitude.
Doherty, who was sent off in the reserves earlier this season, was hoping to gain valuable first-team experience at Bloomfield Road but will not play any part in Blackpool’s LDV Vans Trophy clash with Tranmere on Tuesday after returning to London. McMahon declared himself ‘disappointed’ with Doherty, according to BBC Radio Lancashire.
