Martin Djetou will miss Fulham’s London derby against Tottenham this weekend having failed to shake off a hamstring injury.
The versatile French midfielder picked up the problem in last week’s defeat by Everton and has not been able to prove his fitness during training this week. There is better news about Djetou’s compatriot Sylvain Legwinski, who should have available having recovered from an ankle knock he picked up at Goodison Park. Sean Davis, who saw a potential move away from Fulham fall through this week, is likely to be out for another four weeks with a knee injury and forward Steve Marlet moved to Marseille on loan.
Skipper Andy Melville has resumed training but the trip to White Hart Lane comes too early for the experienced defender. The Welsh international has been pencilled in for a return to action for Fulham’s reserves next week before a decision is taken on whether he heads off on international duty.
