Fulham fans campaigning for the club to return to Craven Cottage are ‘cautiously optimistic’ after meeting with club officials on Friday.
Representatives of the ‘Back to the Cottage’ campaign group met with Fulham chief executive Bruce Langham, finance director Andy Ambler and deputy managing director Lee Hoos at the club’s Motspur Park. During an hour-long discussion, described as productive, Back to the Cottage gave a detailed presentation of their proposals to convert the Hammersmith End and Putney End terracing into temporary seating areas to secure a return to Fulham’s historic home in time for the 2004/05 season.
