Fulham have released their American international goalkeeper Marcus Hahemann at the end of his contract.
The Seattle-born goalkeeper joined the Whites from Colorado Rapids for £80,000 in June 1999 but struggled to displace Maik Taylor and then Edwin van der Sar as Fulham’s number one. Hahnemann made just four first-team appearances and the 30 year-old is hopeful of signing permanently for Reading, for whom he enjoyed an excellent loan spell last term.
