Lee Clark has rubbished rumours of a January move to Glasgow Rangers – with the midfielder’s representatives insisting he is happy at Craven Cottage and is working hard to regain full fitness and a place in the Fulham starting line-up.

A story earlier this week in the Scottish Sun suggested that the former Newcastle United and Sunderland midfielder was about to call time on his stint in SW6 to sign for the Ibrox giants. But Clark’s agent has released a statement underlining that he has never been contacted by Glasgow Rangers about his client’s availability and that Clark wants to regain a starting spot in Jean Tigana’s side when he returns from injury as well as see out the full three years on the contract extension he signed at Fulham last summer.
