Fulham have ensured a merry Christmas for New Malden, the town closest to their Motspur Park training ground, according to the Surrey Comet.
The Premiership club are understood to have contributed around £5,000 to pay for the Christmas lights that were missing last year due to a funding shortfall. The donation may go some way to placating local residents, who were upset by the news that the Whites are planning to expand their training complex.
