Fulham have signed midfielder Nicholas Sahnoun on a season-long loan from Bordeaux.
The French under-21 international successfully completed a medical at Motspur Park on Monday and is expected to go straight into Jean Tigana’s first-team squad. The 20 year-old holding midfielder was keen to move to Craven Cottage as he has struggled for first-team football with Bordeaux. Sahnoun has made just one appearance for Bordeaux’s first team over the past ten months – in last season’s Champions’ League against Fiorentina.
Sahnoun, a 6ft 3in holding midfielder, will challenge Sean Davis for a spot in Tigana’s first team and takes Fulham’s French contingent to three following the arrival of Louis Saha and Fabrice Fernandes in the summer.
