Fulham have signed German centre forward Dirk Lehmann from Energie Cottbus for a fee believed to be in the region of £30,000.

The 6ft 1in forward made 2. Bundesliga 24 appearances for the Brandenburg club last season, scoring twice. He made his senior debut at 1. FC Köln before moving to Belgium to play for Molenbeek, where he played UEFA Cup football. Lehmann moves to Craven Cottage to bolster Kevin Keegan’s striking options as the Whites aim to win promotion from the Second Division this season.
