Kevin Keegan and Ray Wilkins have been appointed chief operating officer and manager of Second Division Fulham this afternoon after the sacking of Micky Adams, according to Liberty Radio.
The London radio station is owned by Fulham chairman Mohamed Al-Fayed, who has enticed former Newcastle manager Keegan back into the beautiful game only eight months after he left St. James’ Park. Adams, who guided Fulham to promotion from the Third Division last season, has left the club along with his backroom staff. Keegan has installed the former Queens Park Rangers boss Wilkins as Fulham’s new manager.
Al-Fayed is ready to splash the cash to fulfil his five-year plan to take Fulham to the top flight.
