Summer signing Darren Freeman scored four goals on his first appearance for Fulham as the Third Division side put seven past Cornwall Combination outfit Illogan RBI at Oakland Parc this afternoon.

The Whites stepped in very late notice to replace Mansfield Town in a two-match tour of the West Country and Freeman showed why Micky Adams was so keen to bring him in from Gillingham with a predatory display of finishing. There was a scare for Adams as Freeman limped off with an ankle injury after putting the home defence to the sword.

Fulham’s other goals came from Nick Cusack, Simon Morgan and Mark Blake.
