Mike Conroy missed a glorious chance to pinch three points at the Abbey Stadium this evening – as Fulham had to settle for a point.
The Scottish striker, who has struggled in his first season at Craven Cottage, should have sealed a vital victory with nine minutes remaining but he failed to punish a dreadful mistake from Cambridge United goalkeeper Martin Davies.
The Whites had the better of a dire draw but couldn’t find a winner with Simon Morgan and Rob Scott spurned good chances to score.
FULHAM: Lange; Jupp, Herrera, Morgan, Moore, Blake, Marshall, McAree, Cusack, Scott, Barber. Subs: Conroy, Thomas, Williams.
