Former Brentford and Millwall midfielder Terry Hurlock was reunited with his former Southampton manager Ian Branfoot after signing for Fulham on a free transfer in August 1994. A fierce competitor and tenacious tackler, Hurlock managed only thirty appearances in two seasons before a double leg break after a tackle by Brentford’s Martin Grainger in a pre-season friendly forced him to retire from the game aged 36.
