Prodigiously talented forward Corey Browne burst onto the scene by scoring on his debut against Charlton Athletic in a League Cup tie at Craven Cottage in August 1991. The eighteen year-old had pace, vision, touch and the ability to finish. His Fulham career lasted just one more game as he suffered a badly broken leg after a horrendous challenge by a Torquay United defender in a 1-0 win at Plainmoor. Browne recovered to play in non-league but Fulham fans still talk about what might have been to this day.
