Struggling Fulham picked up a valuable point at Valley Parade this afternoon – but they could justifiably come away from their goalless draw with Bradford City believing they should have got all three points.

Alan Dicks’ side, battling against relegation from the Third Division, were totally transformed from the team that succumbed far too meekly to a first half bombardment from relegation rivals Rotherham United last weekend. They were disciplined in defence, threatening on the counter attack and could easily have snatched all three points if it was wasn’t for a world class display from Bantams goalkeeper Mark Evans.

Reserve keeper Evans, who replaced regular number one Paul Tomlinson, was hailed by Bradford boss John Docherty as the man of the match for superb saves to deny Peter Scott, Gary Brazil, Phil Stant and substitute Kelly Haag. The visitors tried everything to beat the 20 year-old goalkeeper but had to settle for a share of the spoils on a frustrating afternoon.
