Third Division Fulham have signed Wimbledon centre-forward Andy Sayer for £70,000.
The Cottagers have recruited the 22 year-old striker to boost their push for promotion this season. Sayer, who scored 15 league goals in 58 games for the Dons, hit the headlines when he completed a top-flight hat-trick for Wimbledon against Newcastle United last February. He spent a month on loan at Cambridge United in February – and professed himself ‘pleased’ to have secured a permanent move to Craven Cottage.
