Northern Ireland international Jimmy Quinn scored two sensational second half goals as Swindon Town completed a comfortable victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage.

The in-form forward fired the home side ahead just before the hour mark as Town took control following a forgettable first half. Quinn sidefooted home the opener from twelve yards with his right foot after getting away from Sean Gore to give his side a deserved lead.

Ray Lewington sent on Dean Coney with nine minutes left into a bid to rescue a point, but they conceded the critical second half just a minute after the striker had been introduced. Left-sided midfielder Leigh Barnard found Quinn with a short pass into the penalty area and the striker spun sharply before firing past John Vaughan into the net from seventeen yards.
