Roddy Brathwaite scored two goals in nine games for Fulham after progressing through the club’s youth ranks in the mid-1980s. He enjoyed a dream debut, creating a goal for Chris Pike and scoring the winner in a 3-2 win at Brighton and Hove Albion, but couldn’t recapture those heights during a difficult period for the Whites and joined Farnborough on a free transfer in the summer of 1988.
