Goalkeeper Laurence Batty joined Fulham from Portuguese side Farense in September 1984 but made just twelve first-team appearances in seven years at Craven Cottage. He went on to play more than 500 non-league games for Woking later in his career and returned to Fulham to coach the club’s academy goalkeepers and ladies team.
