England full back Dave Clement joined Fulham from Bolton Wanderers in October 1980. He made twenty appearances under Bobby Campbell and Malcolm Macdonald before moving on to Wimbledon the following summer. Tragically, Clement took his own life aged only 34. His sons, Paul and Neil, have both played Premier League football.
