Scottish striker Peter Marinello scored just a single goal in 32 games for Fulham after moving back to British football from Australian outfit Canberra City. The former Arsenal starlet, once described as ‘the next George Best,’ got the winner against Preston in September 1979 but left Craven Cottage for the USA in the summer of 1980.
