Maltese-born John Cutbush joined Fulham on a free transfer from Tottenham Hotspur in July 1972 after failing to make a first team appearance at White Hart Lane. He quickly became a regular at right back and a consistent performer for the Whites, playing 160 games at Craven Cottage and featuring in the 1975 FA Cup final at Wembley. He was a popular member of an entertaining side and eventually moved to Sheffield United after five years in SW6 before playing indoor soccer with the Wichita Wings in the United States.
