Dependable left back Arthur Tilford made 42 appearances for Fulham between 1932 and 1934. He helped the Whites win the Division Three South title in his first season at Craven Cottage, but was severely impacted by the passing of his young daughter in 1932 and lost form as a result. He was replaced in the starting line-up by new signing Mike Keeping and left Fulham for Walsall in the summer of 1934.
