Former Tottenham Hotspur centre back Harry Lowe remains the oldest player to represent Fulham in a first-team game, having made his debut aged 41. Lowe made three appearances for the Whites at centre back during the 1927/28 season, before leaving for Beckenham Town in the summer of 1930. He went on to become a successful coach in Spain, taking charge of Real Sociedad – for whom he played once in an emergency and became the oldest man to play in La Liga (another record that still stands today) and Espanyol.
