Joe Bradshaw made seven appearances for Fulham between 1904 and 1909. He managed Fulham between 1926 and 1929, keeping the Whites in the Second Division in 1926/27. That only seemed to delay the inevitable as Fulham lost their first twenty away games – and despite a late really – they were relegated for the first time after losing 4-0 at Blackpool on the final day. Bradshaw was kept on for the following campaign but lost his job after a season of mediocrity where his team never looked like challenging for promotion.
