Fulham have agreed a fee of £10.6m with FC Twente for Bryan Ruiz, according to Sky Sports News.
The 26 year-old Costa Rica winger has scored 39 goals in 61 appearances for the Dutch side. He finished as the top scorer in the Eredivisie, with 24 goals, when Twente won the league title for the first time in their history – under former England coach Steve McClaren – in 2010.
Ruiz has won 43 caps for Costa Rica, scoring nine goals.
Waste of 10m and plenty of better options out there. Bendtner, C Cole, Crouch to name a few.
Are you serious those players are rubbish we need youngster. Cole is too like Zamora and crouch will not play second fiddle.
Ruiz a far better choice than any of the names you mention. That said, I’d still like to see us sign a big target striker to play behind Zamora.
