Harry Wilson is set to stay at Fulham, according to the Independent’s Miguel Delaney – despite serious interest from Leeds United on transfer deadline day.
Leeds have already seen a loan bid rejected by Fulham and had been in frenzied negotiations with the Cottagers about the possibility of a permanent deal. That switch seemed in the balance for most of the day, but Delaney has tweeted in the last five minutes that the transfer ‘is in real difficulty’. The Independent’s chief football writer says that Wilson ‘looks like staying at Fulham, bar a drastic change’.
Good! I don’t know what we’d sing at Brentford without him!
