Fulham have confirmed this afternoon that Icelandic international Ragnar Sigurdsson has left the club on a permanent basis – signing for Russian outfit FC Rostov.

The centre half’s loan spell at Rubin Kazan has been terminated to allow the 31 year-old to leave Craven Cottage and sign for Rostov. Sigurdsson, who joined Fulham in the aftermath of his stunning Euro 2016 winner over England, made eighteen appearances for the Whites – scoring just a single goal in a Boxing Day win at Ipswich Town.
