Fulham centre forward Olly Sanderson has joined Woking on a season-long loan.

The tall striker, who scored a superb header against Woking for the under-21s in a pre-season friendly at Motspur Park last month, will add some firepower to the Cards attack and could make his debut for his new side when the National League gets underway against Carlisle United on Saturday.

Sanderson, who had two loan spells with Bradford City and Harrogate Town last season, has been with Fulham since the age of eight and Woking director of football Jody Brown admitted the 21 year-old was a top target:

Olly has EFL experience, and he fits the profile we wanted – can lead the line and play back to goal, as well as stretch the game behind. His performance against us in pre-season cemented that confidence we have in him, he was strong in his duels against [Tunji] Akinola and [Timi] Odusina, he took his goal brilliantly, and his movement was always a threat.”
