It seems as if Marco Silva’s frustration at Fulham’s failure to improve his attacking options has woken the club’s recruitment department up.
But the Whites’ £26m bid for Ricardo Pepi – first reported by Foot Mercato yesterday – was never likely to be enough to land the 22 year-old American international. While Eindhovens Dagblad’s correspondent Rik Elfrink confirmed that the Premier League outfit had tabled an offer for the former Augsburg forward, he also asserted that the fee ‘is not enough’ to match PSV’s valuation.
It remains to be seen if Fulham will return with an improved offer for one of their top summer transfer targets.
Lets see what J has to say about this he should be on later to run the site down but might be taking his lunch time NAP given he acts like a 10 year old.
I do wish article author’s would avoid ending every piece with the usual cliche ‘it remains to be seen…’! Stating the obvious or what!
Can’t blame them for trying, seeing as we were waving 40m about trying to get Kevin’s attention.
Keep the faith. – M.Adams Esq.
