Serie A side Atalanta are interested in signing Fulham forward Rodrigo Muniz, according to the BBC’s Nizaar Kinsella.

The Brazilian striker has attracted significant interest from across Europe this summer, but Fulham have turned down two bids from Premier League rivals and are not prepared to sell the 24 year-old, who remains key to Marco Silva’s plans. The former Flamengo forward has scored 26 goals in 97 games since moving to Craven Cottage and enjoyed an excellent season last year.

Atalanta are looking for a replacement for Mateo Retegui after selling last season’s Serie A top scorer to Al-Qadsiah for £56m. Muniz is believed to be happy to stay at Fulham and the Whites are in talks with his representatives about a new contract.
