Emile Smith Rowe scored the only goal as Fulham secured their second victory of pre-season in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Championship outfit West Bromwich Albion at Motspur Park this afternoon.
Smith Rowe clinically found the net after timing his run to perfection to reach a raking ball from Sander Berge to ensure that Marco Silva’s side followed last week’s victory over Aberdeen with a narrow success against the Baggies in the summer sunshine.
Silva gave 22 members of his first-team squad valuable minutes before they fly out to Portugal for their training camp on Friday.
