Latvian under-17 international Markuss Gomins is versatile performer who has come through the academy’s under age-group programme. He can operate adeptly either as a centre half or as a holder midfielder, where he has made his mark most recently in youth football. He has ten caps for Latvia at under-17 level and is regarded as an excellent reader of the game, who is tenacious in the tackle and has an eye for a pass. Gomins signed a scholarship with Fulham’s academy in July 2025.
