Fulham have offered Kenny Tete improved terms in a late attempt to prevent the Dutch right back from joining Everton on a free transfer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 29 year-old’s five season stint in SW6 appeared set to come to an end earlier this week when he agreed to sign for the Toffees on a free transfer. That still seems likely, but Fulham have tabled a new offer to try and keep their first choice full back at Craven Cottage. The news follows reports earlier this afternoon that Tom Cairney could also remain with Fulham for a further year following a breakthrough in the captain’s contract discussions with the club.
Hope he stays ,but it might be too late here !! But we never knows !! Marco Silva Likes him a lot and he could change his mind at the last min!!
Maybe Kenny should give Bobby Decadova a ring first to see what he thinks of his move to Everton!
One feels Marco has shown frustration and those doing the deals promised to him, and trying to do one as cheaply as possibly are jumping?
Does this augur well?
Will Marco have the squad he needs, for once, BEFORE the season starts?
This part of the Dorset jury is out.
Probably too little too late As usual everything left until the last minute. I would like to see him stay but at this late stage I have my doubts
Makes me suspicious that other plans to fill that position have fallen through
This should have been sorted before this shows you how the Khans operate Silva was promised big money for marquee signings so he would stay at our club which I think was bullxxxx instead The club have let Tetes contract run down can’t we give them Castagne instead
