Fulham are interested in signing the Atalanta right back Raoul Bellanova, according to reports from Italy.

Tuttomercatoweb says that head coach Marco Silva has made Bellanova ‘one of his top priorities’ this summer as the Whites weigh up replacements for Kenny Tete, whose Craven Cottage contract expires at the end of the month. The 25 year-old enjoyed an excellent first season with Atalanta, laying on eleven Serie A assists with his new club, after supplying seven league goals in his final campaign at Torino.

The Italian website suggests that Silva and Fulham are seeking to strengthen their squad to compete for European football next season and see Bellanova as a possible upgrade at right back. But the Cottagers will likely have to work hard to lure Bellanova to SW6 with Atalanta having secured Champions’ League football and Scudetto winners Napoli reportedly also interested in the adventurous full-back.

Newly appointed Atalanta manager Ivan Juric is also keen to keep one of La Dea‘s key players in Bergamo.
