Sky are suggesting that Philippe Senderos is in talks with Fulham about a free transfer.
The Swiss international, who made only three appearances for Arsenal last season, will not have his contract renewed with the Gunners. He spent past of last term on loan at Everton but only played three games for the Toffees.
I’m unsure about this one but Hodgson’s got a track record of rescuing careers that seem to have gone off-track.
I’m sure I read somewhere that he’d cost in the region of £3m. Coincidentally, the same price that Schwarzer’s rumoured to cost… I’m praying we don’t end up with some kind of swapsies. I’ve nothing against Senderos at all but I’d like to keep Schwarzer please, thank you very much Mr Chairman. Can we have both?
Senderos is out of contract and therefore will cost nothing.
The site reporting the 3mil fee was Goal.com and I wouldn’t trust anything they report.
Also, I don’t believe Schwarzer will go anywhere as long as Roy stays.
