Nick has pointed me towards this interview with Fredrik Stoor. It’s no use unless you can understand Swedish – fortunately Nick has translated the main points.

Stoor has said that he will probably have to leave Fulham if he doesn’t get a real chance in the first team soon. That doesn’t seem particularly likely because John Pantsil seems to have established himself as Roy’s first choice right back. He says he’s been impressed with Pantsil of late but thinks he should have been given a chance earlier in the season.

The reason for the thoughts about a move – and it’s likely to be a permanent one rather than a loan – seems to be that Stoor is worried about losing his place in the Swedish national team.

Also, it seems that two of the top Swedish league coaches were invited over to have a two-week internship with Hodgson and the team before Christmas.

Cheers for the update Nick – slightly worried about the Stoor situation as I had thought he would be the first choice right back when he signed and that Pantsil would be the back-up. Can’t really complain about Roy’s decision to stick with Pantsil at the moment but I’d be sad to see Fredrik leave.
