Kenny Tete has rejected a new deal at Fulham and appears set to leave the club on a free transfer this summer.
The Dutch defender, who has been key to the Whites’ revival under Marco Silva, turned down improved terms and a lengthy contract extension earlier this month amid interest from clubs across Europe. The 28 year-old right back has been linked with a return to his native Netherlands, but is also understood to be a top close season target for teams in Italy, Spain and Germany.
Fulham and Tete’s representatives remain in discussions as Silva seeks to keep the former Olympique Lyonnais full back at Craven Cottage. Tete, capped fourteen times at senior level by his country, has made 113 appearances for the Whites since signing for Fulham in 2020. He has been out of first-team action since suffering a serious knee injury at Anfield in December.
