A defiant Marco Silva has pledged that his Fulham side will fight until the end of the season to try and secure a place in Europe despite yesterday’s devastating derby defeat.

The Fulham head coach spoke to DAZN Portugal immediately after late goals from Tyrique George and Pedro Neto had stunned Craven Cottage – brushing off persistent links to Tottenham Hotspur should struggling Spurs sack Ange Postecoglou.

“My head is at Fulham … we don’t control everything [that is said] around us. It is not part of me. With such important games week after week [in the Premier League], our total focus is here and we control what we can, which is preparing the players for the next matches. The goal is for us to fight … We have five finals to fight for and we will fight. There is no turning back.”
