Fulham winger Adama Traore is likely to be in Marco Silva’s matchday squad for Sunday’s London derby against Tottenham Hotspur, according to Marco Silva.

The Spanish speedster missed the last-gasp defeat by Brighton and Hove Albion after limping out of the FA Cup victory at Old Trafford with a calf complaint but Fulham head coach Silva revealed that the former Middlesbrough man had made good progress on his return to training at Motspur Park.

“Adama is going to be back [in the matchday squad on Sunday]. [He has] not [had a] full week with the team but the past few days he has been slowly integrated into everything we have been doing.”

Silva confirmed that full back Kenny Tete is around three weeks away from being considered for a first-team return after a prolonged spell with the sidelines.

“It is impossible [for him] to play this game. It may be two soon for the Crystal Palace game, two or three weeks away maybe.”

The Portuguese boss insisted that the squad”s focus was fully on the Premier League – with the Cup quarter final against Palace looming large.

“If someone is thinking about the quarter finals now, then they are not going to play. If they think about games which is not the next one, they will not play the next quarter final. The players don’t think in that way. They are ready to play the next game in every single session.”
