High praise from the Guardian’s Barry Glendenning for Fulham’s flying full back Antonee Robinson:
“While Robinson’s season-on-season improvement will not surprise Fulham fans, his remarkable form has raised eyebrows among those less used to seeing him play. Ranked third among Premier League defenders when it comes to making tackles and interceptions, it is going forward that he has excelled in a Fulham side performing well above expectation. The pacy United States international has been accumulating frequent-flyer points with his regular overlapping sprints down the left wing and no top-flight defender has bettered his three assists. On current form, Robinson is arguably the top flight’s best left-back and the force is very much with the 27-year-old known as Jedi.”
Makes you why Liverpool will be able to get him for £40m come the summer, doesn’t it?
I really appreciate journalists selling off our players
and maybe plant the seeds of discontent. It could also make you wonder why he would want to go to Liverpool, when he came through the Everton youth academy and is a Blue.
He’s done superbly for us, and we would be hard-pressed to find a replacement. His deal ends in 2028, so I don’t see the point in selling such a key player, even with the 40m or trade of Tsimikas.
I do wish the media could be stopped from doing this maybe the FA should step in what really gets up there noses they don’t like Fulham succeeding we found these players Anderson is now being touted by the Media saying he would look good in a Liverpool shirt Why If Fulham finish in a European place it’s because they have earned it Harland would look good in a Fulham shirt so to Salah but you don’t see The Media saying that do you you turn on the Radio or Sky it’s all about Liverpool or Moan Utd Man City or Bloody Chelsea without the clubs like Fulham Brighton Brentford etc there would be no Premier League
