Six Fulham fixtures in December and January have been moved as a result of the latest Premier League television picks, which have been confirmed this afternoon.
The home meeting with Brighton and Hove Albion, originally scheduled for Tuesday 3 December, will now kick off at 7.30pm on Thursday 5 December and be broadcast live on Amazon Prime Video.
The London derby against Arsenal at Craven Cottage has been switched from Saturday 7 December to Sunday 8 December in order to be screened by Sky Sports and will now kick off at 2pm.
Fulham’s home game against Southampton moves from Saturday 21 December to Sunday 22 December for a 2pm kick off and will also be live on Sky Sports.
The Boxing Day trip to Stamford Bridge will remain a 3pm kick off but the match will be shown live on Amazon Prime Video.
Fulham’s first home game of the new year will now be on Sunday 5 January against Ipswich Town in front of the Sky Sports cameras with a 2pm kick off.
The Whites will still travel to the London Stadium to take on West Ham United on Tuesday 14 December, but the game will now kick off at 7.30pm to facilitate the broadcast commitments of TNT Sports.
TNT Sports will also show the Craven Cottage clash with Manchester United, which will now kick off at 7pm on Sunday 26 January.
What a mess. I wish we could get rid of the TV money in football.
Gone are the good old days with most matches on a Saturday with a 3 o’clock kick off
No point having a season ticket anymore
Yes, the club does not care. I am not able to go to the re-arranged Brighton match. They told me I will only get my money back if it is sold out, (evening game against Brighton, what chance?) and then I can put my ticket on the market, it may not sell then and I am out of pocket for no fault of my own. they have had the money from me as well as the money from the television company. A disgusting state of affairs, effectively told to go and “do one” by the club. How many other industries are allowed to treat their customers like this?
Many sage old heads predicted that big money would ruin the game. Well hallo.
Attending matches now beyond the average wage earner and anyway it’s increasingly being made logistically impossible for huge numbers of fans. Being very selfish, at least I lived through the best of times.
I’m with you David
