Fulham are in advanced discussions with Olympique Lyonnais over a £15m deadline day for winger Ernest Nuamah, according to the Athletic’s Peter Rutzler.
The Whites are understood to be the frontrunners for the Ghanaian international’s signature ahead of Everton and are negotiating over the amount of performance-activated add-ons and the precise deals of the Ligue 1 outfit’s sell-on clause. The 20 year-old, who starred in the Superliga for Nordsjælland, scored three times in 33 games for Pierre Sage’s side, which triggered a permanent move to France.
But with Lyon needing to sell to ease their financial worries, Fulham are confident a deal can be struck to bring in the additional winger Marco Silva craves. Should the move go through, the Whites will loan out talented youngster Martial Godo again, according to the Athletic. The England under-20 international shone at Wigan Athletic and the Cottagers have fielded a number of offers from Championship clubs, with Millwall and Blackburn Rovers at the front of queue.
Unproven french league winger… not sure had many success with those in recent years. Would much prefer Reiss Nelson or even Almiron (he has no sell on value though), someone ready up and running.
He has quality to be a good winger must be better than Nelson. As regards Almiron, no more chance to develop since reached 30 years, furthermore, he is not a really skilful player. No resell value.
Reiss Nelson would be a better signing, but not sure Arsenal would be willing to sell. One thing for sure, Fulham need a wide player and they are out of time….
We need to look in our Academy and give some of the boys a chance. A wide player is a no risk position and we can afford to take a punt there. We have real talent in the Academy and they hungry, fearless and available…so come on Marco so some faith!!

I feel that the only extent to which Nelson is proven is simply that he doesn’t set the world on fire. Almiron is a much better player. Never seen this chap Nuamah, but reports are glowing and he is young enough to still be developing. He would be my choice if it had to be from those three, with Almiron a good alternative. I think Nelson would be a mistake.
