Emile Smith Rowe was delighted to score on his home debut as Fulham beat Leicester City 2-1 at Craven Cottage this afternoon.

The England international scored his first Premier League for two and half years to give the Whites a first-half lead over the Foxes and told Premier League Productions how happy he was after the final whistle:

“I feel we dominated large parts of the game and we deserved the three points today.

I was obviously delighted with my goal today. I think it was Adama, who was running across the pitch with the ball and put me through so I just tried to stay composed and it was a nice goal today. I think it was a bit of relief – it’s been a long time, like you said. I’m just really happy to get my first goal in the league for Fulham, so I’m really happy.

The boys have welcomed me so nicely, not just the players but the staff as well. I can definitely feel the love from the fans as well, so it’s been amazing so far.”
