Fulham centre forward Carlos Vinicius could be close to a departure from Craven Cottage – with Corinthians and AEK Athens interested in signing the Brazilian striker.

Vinicius, who spent the second half of last season at Turkish giants Galatasaray, has been made available for transfer by Fulham this summer having fallen behind his compatriot Rodrigo Muniz in SW6. The 29 year-old is being monitored by Corinthians and is understood to be open to a return to his homeland, which could materialise if the Brazilian outfit fail to secure their first target in Paraguayan international Alex Acre from LDU, according to Bruno Andrade.

Greek outlet BN Sports claim that Vinicius, who has scored eight times in 48 appearances for Fulham, features on AEK’s shortlist of striker targets as they aim to add to their attacking options ahead of the new campaign. The report suggests that Fulham will demand a decent fee for the former Benfica and Tottenham Hotspur forward, with the Eagles entitled to a sell-on under the terms of the deal that brought him to the Whites in September 2022.
