Fulham have put a £25m price tag on attacking midfielder Andreas Pereira in an attempt to ward off interest from the likes of Aston Villa, Chelsea and Marseille, according to Give Me Sport.
The Whites are desperate to hold onto the Brazilian international, who is entering the last two years of his current contract at Craven Cottage. Pereira, who has scored eight goals and added 15 assists in 82 appearances since joining the Whites from Manchester United, is considered a key part of Marco Silva’s plans and recently told the Evening Standard that joining Fulham two summers ago was one of the best decisions of his career.
Ligue 1 outfit Marseille had an enquiry for the 28 year-old knocked back earlier this month and suggestions that Fulham could be open to allowing Pereira to leave after signing Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal are wide of the mark.
C’mon, only £25m for a Brazilian regular who consistently produces the goods?!
How can this be if Paquetá hasn’t performed to half of what Andreas has done on the pitch in these past two years, and signed in ’22 for £36.5m?
Would much rather keep Andreas, of course.
Seriously???
He’s not even worth the 10m we paid for him
Just more paper filling talk as nobody (in their right mind) would pay 25m for him
I trust Silva’s opinion and Andreas has been almost ever present in the team. He must see something in him, as must the Brazilian national coach. Of course Smith Rowe will be competition for him, but I thought that was the general idea behind squads.
Good, bad or indifferent whatever your assessment I thought the idea was to build a squad with options. Andreas is good enough for Marco and the Brazilian coach and has been a solid member of the squad since joining. Think I’ll go with their views.
One in one out is counterproductive.
If McTominay is valued at 30 million then a price tag of at least 40 million for Andreas Pereira. He is under contract so under no pressure to sell
