Ryan Sessegnon is set to have a medical at Fulham today ahead of a stunning return to Craven Cottage on a free transfer.
The 24 year-old, who had been training with Crystal Palace, has decided to rejoin his boyhood club having been released by Tottenham Hotspur earlier this summer. Sessegnon broke into the Fulham senior set up aged sixteen and made 120 appearances, scoring 25 goals, before joining Spurs in a deal worth £25m after the Whites were relegated from the top flight in 2019.
Fulham have beaten a number of English and European sides to secure Sessegnon’s signature – with the former England under-21 international able to provide cover for Antonee Robinson at left back and also operate on the left wing. Sessegnon has already agreed terms with Fulham on a two-year contract, with an option for a third year.
A No brainer. A player who wants to play for us and covers full back and left wing. He costs nothing providing his medical goes through Okay
OK, for free, sure. Why not.
“A player who wants to play for us” more like a player who wanted away from us, who found out he wasn’t as good as his agent told him. On a free? sure.
@fred a player who wanted away from Parkerball and to stay in the premier league. Not forgetting he was sold for a very tidy profit. Mental that he’s only 24 still and if he stays fit is absolute quality addition. With fingers crossed ESR coming in with Andre, Sousa, Menghi or chalobah and keeping Stansfeild it would be a solid if slow window.
No brainer here !!.Can cover left back to Robinson and play left winger.!!.No fee involved!!!.Brilliant deal here,if he stay free !!.
This would be good for Ryan and Fulham. This would be a feel good transfer and give us lift to have one of our back with us.
All need to do now is get Matt O’Riley back from Celtic as well, that would be something!!
He was a good player before he started to get injured continuously I just hope he stays fit or he won’t even make a back up player. Why aren’t we signing Andre,ESR, and centre backs and another striker.
I said back in the day when Ryan went to Spurs that it wouldn’t work out for him and he would struggle and it kinda became true.
Coming back to the family now Will kickstart him for sure. Can’t wait to see him playing in a Fulham shirt again. COYW
If he stays fit then Marco will get him playing. Free agent makes it a no brainer
Looks like ESR going through. Bit pricy but same as Sess. If he stays fit Marco will get him playing. Could have a busy treatment room with Sess, ESR and Adama.
well done Jay, you made his move to spurs fail. hope you’re proud of yourself

i wonder if this means the end to our wonderfull william journey
be good to see sess back again
We had the fewest injuries of any team. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cq55wy2qx21o
The trainers are doing something right. Hope that means Sess can put his injury trouble behind him.
