Fulham are close to reaching a deal with Arsenal to sign winger Emile Smith Rowe, according to the Athletic’s David Ornstein.
The structured deal could be worth a maximum of £35m – making the England international, Fulham’s record signing. The 23 year-old was one of Marco Silva’s top summer targets and could now undergo a medical before the weekend.
I am fine with this deal !!! My only worry is if he can stay fit !!!
Why are we selling esr hrs one of your best players
Presumably, that’s what the medical is for!
Great deal if he stays fit big risk
This is great!!! Was the one Marco wanted the most.
Think he must have put pressure on TK
A lot of money with his fitness issues. I am undecided.
I hope you have not splashed the majority of our budget on this player as we desperately need a holding mid fielder and a central defender plus others
Whilst I consider the price far too high for this injury prone player if this is a move Marco wants and keeps him at our club then it is a worthwhile gamble. Let’s hope we get our midfielder soon what has happe5 to Andre. Also retain Stansfield.
Often the case with us at the end of a transfer window that it is the guys we have kept that are the best news. ESR appears to be Marco’s choice and if it keeps him as our manager, I’m fine with it (you don’t see any ‘good riddance’ posts from Gooners…). Getting Sess back on a free is also going to be a ‘Marco pleaser’ and at 24 a good piece of business. I understand that Andre is injured and why that deal has not been resolved – a shame because he seemed an interesting addition. I hope that we can also sign either Mengi or Challobah and believe that we have not heard the last of our interest in Scott McTominay… COYW!!!
Looks like Andre, Sess and ESR are all coming in and Marco seems to want McTominay as well. The question is – where does this leave Pereira?
