Tony Mowbray’s sacking as Celtic coach means Diomansy Kamara will definitely return to Fulham in the summer, according to the Senegalese international”s former agent.

Fabrizio Ferrari, who represented the former West Brom forward when he sealed a £6m switch to Fulham in the summer of 2007, reckons that the reason Kamara was keen to head north of the border on loan was because of his success under Mowbray at the Hawthorns. With the former Celtic player paying the price for failing to keep pace with Rangers at the top of the SPL and a shock 4-0 defeat by lowly St. Mirren, Ferrari thinks Celtic have little chance of keeping Kamara on a permanent basis, even though such a condition was written into the loan deal.

Tony Mowbray was the reason Diomansy signed for Celtic. They worked well together at West Brom and he wanted to play for him again.

It’s very sad what happened with Tony and it will have a big impact on Diomansy’s future. He will be very disappointed.

I can’t see him staying at Celtic now. He will probably wait until the end of the season and then go back to Fulham.

Long-term, I don’t know what the future will be for Diomansy. He will speak to Fulham and make a decision, but I don’t expect him to be at Celtic next season.
