Tim Ream says he hasn’t made his last appearance for Fulham – despite being heavily linked with a summer move to MLS side Charlotte FC.

The veteran centre back was given a rapturous reception by the travelling fans as he captained Marco Silva’s side to a 4-2 win at Luton Town in May and, in his first public comments since the prospect of a return to the United States emerged, he insisted that he wanted to stay at Craven Cottage.

Speaking to ESPN ahead of the USA’s involvement in the Copa America, the 36 year-old said:

“I was just happy to be able to do that [captain Fulham to victory at Luton]. I don’t consider it – and haven’t considered it – to be my last appearance at there. As for anything else, right now my focus is here. Whatever’s going on in terms of transfers, it’s not really something that I’m paying attention to and focused on. There’s a job to do here with this group and that’s what I’m focused on, a hundred per cent.”
