The Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg reports this evening that Fulham head coach Marco Silva was on Chelsea’s longlist to succeed Mauricio Pochettino.
The Blues are hopeful of making an appointment by the end of next week, with the current Leicester boss Enzo Maresca their preferred candidate. Steinberg’s story says that Chelsea’s ‘interest in Silva is unlikely to be pursued.
